One of The Grove’s most attractive aspects is its central Midlothian location. Being so close to the center of Midlothian, it is walking distance from anything one could ever want or need. Grocery stores, local coffee shops, large name-brand shops, locally owned eateries, salons, spas, fitness studios, other businesses, and more can all be found close by. 

The Grove residents are also just down the road from the largest enclosed shopping mall in the Richmond area, Chesterfield Towne Center. Consisting of over 100 shops and eateries, some of the larger brand names found here Consist of Macy’s, Ulta Beauty, H&M, and several others. 

 

Things To Do

Residents of The Grove are within walking distance to Midlothian Mines Park, the first documented commercially-mined coal site for the Virginia Colony. Today, this 44-acre preserve is home to a pond, bike trails, and walking path. Locals love to spend time here as there is much to explore. Are you more of an indoor person, not to worry! The Midlothian Library is just around the corner.

 

Schools

This well-established community is part of the Chesterfield County School System but is also in close proximity to many private schools. Midlothian High School, grades 9-12; MHS was scored a 93/100 by U.S. News & World Report for their high advanced placement participation rate, scores on state standardized exams, and practically perfect graduation rate
